Increasing the engagement on social media can be a relentless task. Nevertheless, it’s also essential to establish an engaged audience online if you own a business. Many businesses want to increase the total number of followers but their social media engagement is incredibly low. If you are a real estate agent and you want to get more out of your social media efforts, then make sure you are implementing these 4 strategies.

4 SECRETS TO GET ENGAGED AUDIENCE

When customers engage with you on social media you get an opportunity to know and understand them. You're given a chance to build a relationship with your audience. Thus, social media engagement can be used to strengthen customer relationships.

Social media engagement plays an important part in running a business. If we talk about real estate agents, they have to pay attention to every message they get. They have to go market, put signs on the road, have to tell realtors in the area and let the community know about the new property in the town. They have to get engagement along the way and get people understand what they are selling. They have to connect with people. They have to get their story heard.

If you are a new business and you are trying to get your message out there, you need to engage with the clients that are coming. While you are trying to run your business, you also need to stay engaged and keep the community happy.

Let’s suppose you’re a solopreneur and you are starting a new business. Along with figuring out how to generate leads, how to get contracts, you also need to figure out how you’re going to stay in contact with all people you know.

To get engaged with your clients and audience, here are few quick tips;

1- MAKE IT EASY

A newsletter is an easy way to stay in contact with your audience and ideal clients. You can send out something once in a week. Put some good content in your newsletter in the form of video, quotes, text or images. Let the community know your intentions this year. Let them know what products you sell and what’s coming next.

If you are a real estate agent and you are sending out a newsletter, ensure that it goes out every week. I would recommend sending a newsletter every week on the same day and at a specific time.

What are some things that you can include in your newsletter?

As a real estate agent, you can share new homes that have come into the community recently. You can also talk about the market, the interest rates,

communities etc. Try to be creative. Make things interesting. You can even have an admin for a couple of hours a week to design and send out newsletters.

In our newsletter, we send video links, and blog posts to our subscribers so they get to learn more marketing strategies for their businesses.

2- GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO LOVE

Basically, you have to give them the content they are going to love. Create consistent easy to read and consumer focus content for your audience. You have to focus on your industry but tie it all in together. Tell interesting stories about your industry. But, keep the content relevant. Keep it to the point so that people would want to come back and learn more.

With my 10 year experience in real estate, I can say that there is a lot of variety in real estate. There are lots of first-time home buyers, move down buyers, move up buyers, investors and many commercial opportunities.

If you are not passionate enough about your business, you are probably going to have a hard time coming up with new relevant content.

The point is to give the audience something they actually want to read, watch and take part.

3- TRACK HOW PEOPLE INTERACT

Now, there’s google analytics that can help you analyze the content you create for your audience. If you send newsletters, the reports of the email campaigns help you measure the success of your content. Are audience clicking the links? Do they add feedback?

If you are using MailChimp or any other tool, you can see the open rates of your campaigns. The statistics will show you where people clicked and at what time. If you have video content on Facebook or youtube, these platforms also give you great analytics.

If you really want to know how your audience interacts, read your numbers. Know the results you are getting and make your future decisions based on those results. However, it takes time to collect big numbers. Be consistent with your content schedule.

4- LEVERAGE SOCIAL MEDIA

Today, social media is the forefront of marketing. It makes it easy for you to find your targeted audience. Using social media platforms will also help to identify your potential buyers. Moreover, it’s the fastest medium to interact and engage with an audience.

An average person uses Facebook 18 times a day.

So, if you are using Facebook 18 times, there’s a good chance to see things that you probably want to watch.
