A marketer typically runs a campaign to target the right prospects to get leads and sales. It’s also common to get stuck performing the same marketing techniques that are not effective.
According to a research, ‘97% of visitors do not convert on their first visit’. That means people are not likely to buy something on their first visit. They will only buy when they’re ready to buy.
So, how you can stay top of their minds?
What can you do to re-engage with your audience?
Re-engagement techniques are used to reach out to the people who have earlier visited your blog, or business and showed interest but then, got disengaged. Now, you have to re-engage with your audience using new efficient techniques.
Here are 3 ways to re-engage with your audience:

1- Have an engagement focused thinking
There’s no place for traditional marketing today. No self-promotional techniques all the time. Stop using sales pitches in all of your content. In fact, have an engagement focused thinking.
The first, most important, step is to solve a problem for your audience. Instead of selling your services and then promoting it all over - apply your expert skills to understand the customer and have a meaningful conversation. Try to build engagement with your targeted audience before you sell a product.
It’s easy to get engagement only if you provide valuable content. Good content can actually educate the prospect during their purchase cycle. Make your content work for your business. Build engagement with your readers through remarkable content. If you create outstanding content along with your expertise and experience, chances are that people would respond to your content by sharing, commenting and referring.
Just know how to pique interest in your readers mind so that they get attracted to what you offer. When you educate prospects, you actually create influence.
You only get an engaged audience if your content solves the reader’s ultimate problem. Having an engagement focused thinking will eventually help you build better relationships with your audience.

2- Develop interactive conversations
It’s time for you to think about the nature of your content. Do you have content that’s static and inactive? Take a minute and consider producing different content that’s more relevant and timely.
Instead of producing lengthy content guides, create smaller interactive snippets of information for your audience. The aim is to trigger interactive conversations so that you relevantly engage with your audience and create better relationships.
Here, I’m giving you few examples; ◇ Start a contest and ask audience to participate ◇ Offer a $100 advice for free and do Q/A session ◇ Maybe, do an expert round up advice ◇ Exhibit a new home ◇ Interview a new client and share their experiences

3- Use social media as a community
Have you ever thought of creating a community, full of prospects and customers, on social media? How fantastic!
No doubt, social media is a great platform to re-engage with your audience. Everyone uses social media. You can easily find your followers on social media.
An interactive community can help to empower the customers to share experiences, discuss the worth, show the results, do the feedback and excite the other interested prospects.
Think about creating an engaged social media community where you guide prospects by educating and sharing your expertise, not just by selling the products. These communities are also a great source of competitive market feedback.
Getting an engaged audience is not so simple. You’ll have to be interactive and creative to re-energize your audience. But, once you get the hang of re-engagement, it will be a worthwhile reward for you.
