Focus on the NOW

Today, I’m going to ask you a couple of questions. So, what are YOU doing now? What are you doing right now in your business?

Stop whatever you are doing and pause for a moment. Follow along with me for a second here. Take a deep breath, hold it for a moment and let it go slowly.

I will ask a few more questions to see what you are thinking about it. So, how are you feeling right now? What’s going on in your head mentally? What are you focusing on? Are you happy? Are you sad? Are you overwhelmed?

Let’s get into your head now. Do you feel like the weight of your business is on your mind all the time? Are you pretty satisfied with how the last nine months have gone this year?

Now, come back. Don’t get too lost in those thoughts. Sometimes, they can be little overwhelming. You just have to take a moment to de-stress your life. Take a couple of more breathes and focus on the now.

Take some time in your life to consider what’s going on and where you are in the moment right now.

One of the things I do every morning before I start my day after my workout is I take time to meditate.

Pause for a moment and take twenty minutes to meditate and de-stress your life. It helps to put some thoughts in your mind and reset yourself for the day. It’s going to be a huge success for you. It just takes the busy thoughts that are going on in your head and pushes them out for a moment so that you can focus right now in that moment.

There are even some cool apps that are available on your phone for free to have some guided meditation. There’s an app called 10% happier which is free to download. There’s a free trial that you can try. There’s another app called Headspace which is really good too. There’s a guy that will walk you through either five or ten minutes meditation. He will give you some ways to pause and reflect on something else.

So, spend a moment each day. Focus on your breathing. Think about your insides. Don’t think about all the stress that day and what you have going on.

The method of how you meditate is not super important. It’s just getting your sense in a frame of mind that works for a moment.

Let’s talk about routines for a minute. What are some of the routines you have in your life? You jump out of bed, grab your phone, hit your email and just go right into it.

If you look up Tony Robbins, I really appreciate what he’s done for me in my life. Look up priming with Tony Robbins. He has a 15-minute walk through of how to be grateful for the moment that you’re in right now and how to find the peace and happiness. Try to be appreciative of things going on in your life. It’s just communicating with your inner soul.

I personally believe in planning out my tomorrow. I try to get things done tomorrow that I didn’t get done today.

Tell me, are you finding gratitude and thankfulness in your life? Are you planning out your day strategically? Are you able to make the most of every moment in your life and able to appreciate the things that you have going on right now? I think too many people take for granted where they are in their life. They think about tomorrow, the next week and the next ten years. They don’t think about the NOW.

So, I encourage you in your day to spend 10, 20 minutes and think about where you are and if you are lined up with your goals.
